Worship Here, Worship There, Worship Anywhere…
I just wrapped up my annual girl’s weekend with my childhood friend Jill. We spent the weekend at the river in beautiful Deltaville, VA. I always enjoy this special time with my bestie. Similar to when we were kids, we stay up late each night talking and laughing. We play card games, go out to eat, partake in some small-town shopping, and weather permitting we’ll get in some pool time. And, over the past few years, we’ve concluded our BFF weekend in fellowship by attending online church.
While I look forward to in-person worship service on Sunday mornings, I’m truly grateful for, and appreciate the flexibility of being able to worship remotely. It was awesome to be able to worship online with you [my Wright’s Chapel family] during my family vacation to the OBX in June, and recently during my girls’ weekend on the Chesapeake Bay.
It’s been such a blessing for me to support Wright’s Chapel online ministries and to worship remotely with each of you – this is what community is all about! If church online is the way that your family and you worship each week, or simply on occasion, we hope that you will let us know of your attendance via chat/comments if worshiping via Facebook or YouTube. With the amazing participation in the online worship service at Wright’s Chapel, we’re excited to expand our outreach through online opportunities both within and outside of our community. I’m humbled and excited to be supporting you as the Director of Connection for the ministries at Wright’s Chapel.
